Tools for CFOs explains twelve categories of finance software, from the close to procurement, and lists the vendors in each. A category entry says what the software does, who uses it, the parts a product usually has, how it connects to the categories beside it, and what to ask a vendor. Where an entry mentions a rule or a standard, it links the primary source.
Vendors are described only from their own public pages and, for public companies, their SEC filings. We write one neutral sentence per product and quote one of the vendor's own, and list the modules and integrations the vendor names. Lists are alphabetical.
The site does not review, rate or recommend software, takes no payment from vendors, and carries no advertising or affiliate links. It is not investment advice: whether a vendor is a public company is a fact from the SEC's records, not a view on its shares.
The rules are on the method page. Corrections go to corrections@toolsforcfos.com.
